Our Approach

The words we use, defined.

One line each. Wherever a term first appears on a page, it links here.

Continuous Sustainability Trust Infrastructure
EcoVeraZ's category: the layer that keeps the evidence attached to every sustainability number, continuously, from the meter to the board paper.
Evidence
The record behind a number — a meter reading, an invoice, a manifest, a supplier declaration, a sensor stream or a reference factor — with its period, unit, entity and capture time.
Evidence chain
The trail from a reading to a decision: Recorded → Reviewed → Cross-checked → Scored → Issued. Every figure on the platform carries its own chain.
Data-Trust Score™
A confidence indicator from 0 to 100 on each figure and on a report as a whole, showing how well the number is supported by evidence. Not a rating of performance and not an assurance opinion. How it is worked out →
Data-Trust Certificate™
A record, issued for a fixed version of a report, that every figure in it was recorded, reviewed, cross-checked where references existed and unchanged since preparation — with an integrity reference and a trusted timestamp. It describes the evidence chain; it does not certify the organisation.
Triangulation (cross-check)
Comparing one figure against independent references — a second source for the same quantity, a published factor, the figure's own history. Agreement raises confidence; a disagreement beyond tolerance flags the figure for a person.
PASS · REVIEW · FLAG
The status on every figure. PASS: evidence complete and in agreement, safe to publish. REVIEW: a person still needs to look. FLAG: the figure does not fit its history or its references and is held until resolved.
Digital MRV
Monitoring, reporting and verification done from continuous readings — meters, sensors and operational records — rather than periodic estimates, so each reading carries its own evidence status.
Digital Product Passport (DPP)
A product-level record — identity, materials, footprint, recycled content, end-of-life route — assembled from the same evidence base as the sustainability report, prepared for emerging passport requirements. Passport-ready data, not a certified passport.
Copilot
The platform's assistant. It answers questions from the customer's own evidence, lists the figures and sources each answer used, and says so when the evidence cannot answer.
Verification-ready
Prepared so that an auditor, assurer or regulator can start from the evidence rather than from a request for it. EcoVeraZ prepares figures for verification; it does not verify, assure or certify them.
Framework mapping
Organising one evidence base for the questions each disclosure framework asks — BRSR / BRSR Core, CSRD / ESRS, ISSB, GRI and others — so evidence is collected once and prepared for each. Mapping organises evidence; it does not certify compliance.
Synthetic data
Generated, deterministic, representative figures used in every demonstration on this website. They are not customer data and not a forecast.
Tenant
One customer organisation on the platform, with its own users, roles, evidence and reports, separated from every other tenant.
