What EcoVeraZ is
What is EcoVeraZ?
EcoVeraZ is Continuous Sustainability Trust Infrastructure: an evidence layer beneath sustainability reporting that keeps every figure attached to its source record, its reviewer and its cross-checks, so a number can be traced and relied upon rather than asserted.
What does “Continuous Sustainability Trust Infrastructure” actually mean?
Continuous, because evidence is kept as figures move rather than reconstructed at year end; trust, because the point is whether a reader can rely on the number; infrastructure, because it sits beneath reporting, rating, assurance and finance rather than competing with them.
Is EcoVeraZ an ESG rating agency?
No. EcoVeraZ does not rate, score or rank organisations against one another. The Data-Trust Score describes how well a single figure is supported by evidence, which is a different question from how an organisation performs.
Do you provide assurance, or certify compliance with a framework?
No. EcoVeraZ issues no assurance opinion and certifies compliance with no framework; both belong to the professionals and authorities holding that mandate. What the platform does is prepare evidence so their work starts from evidence rather than from a request for it.
How is this different from carbon accounting software?
Accounting software calculates a footprint from activity data; EcoVeraZ holds the evidence beneath that activity data — the meter, the invoice, the manifest, the reviewer, the cross-check — and passes it on with the figure. The two sit together, and the how we differ page sets out the boundary against ratings, reporting suites and assurance as well.
The platform and the score
What is a Data-Trust Score?
A confidence indicator from 0 to 100 attached to every figure and to a report as a whole, built from four signals: whether the figure is recorded against a source, reviewed by a person, cross-checked against an independent reference, and intact since it was prepared. The methodology page sets out each signal in full.
What is a Data-Trust Certificate?
A record issued for a fixed version of a report stating what was true of every figure in it at the moment of issue — counts per signal, the number of estimated figures, an integrity reference and a trusted timestamp. It describes the evidence chain; it is not a certification of the organisation and not an assurance opinion.
What happens when two sources disagree?
The figure is compared against its references within a tolerance set for that quantity. Inside the tolerance the sources agree; outside it the figure is flagged and held for a person. Nothing is averaged, trimmed or silently corrected, and the disagreement stays on record with how it was resolved.
Can a figure be changed after a report is issued?
A figure can be corrected, but not quietly: any change produces a new version, the previous value and the reason are kept, and a report that changes gets a new certificate while the old one remains on record as superseded.
Can someone outside our organisation check a figure?
Any figure on an issued report can be checked at a public verification address, which confirms the figure and the state of its evidence chain without exposing the underlying records. What is shared is decided by the reporting organisation, not by us.
Is the data shown on this website real?
No. Every console, chart, certificate and figure on this website runs on synthetic, deterministic data across three fictional facilities. It is labelled as synthetic wherever it appears, and no customer data is used anywhere on the public site.
What is a Digital Product Passport, and do you issue one?
A product-level record of material, footprint and lifecycle evidence that regulation is beginning to require in several categories. EcoVeraZ prepares passport-ready evidence with the records behind each attribute; it does not issue certified passports, which sit with the bodies mandated to issue them.
Frameworks and reporting
Which frameworks do you prepare evidence for?
Four have a framework page of their own: BRSR and BRSR Core, CSRD and ESRS, ISSB (IFRS S1 and S2), and the GHG Protocol as the accounting basis. TCFD, GRI, CDP, SBTi, PCAF, GRESB and AASHE STARS draw on the same evidence base, and Digital Product Passport readiness is prepared as requirements arrive.
Does “mapped to a framework” mean you cover all of it?
No, and this is the claim we are most careful about. Each framework page states capability by capability whether something is Demonstrated in the product today, Prepared as organised evidence assembled per engagement, or Planned and not yet built — and Planned is never counted as coverage.
Do you replace our reporting suite?
Not necessarily. If a reporting suite already lays out your disclosure well, it can keep doing so; what changes is that the figures arriving in it carry their record, reviewer, cross-check and confidence instead of being typed into a cell.
Can our assurance provider use what the platform produces?
That is the intent: the evidence card behind any figure holds its records, reviewer, cross-check table and versions, and a certificate states what was true at issue. Their scope, standard, sampling and opinion remain entirely theirs to set.
What if a figure is an estimate?
It is scored as an estimate, labelled as one wherever it appears, and shown with the basis it was made on. Reports can be issued containing estimates — the certificate then records how many, so a reader knows what they are looking at.
Security, privacy and AI
Where is our data hosted?
The web presence and application run on Vercel; backend services, databases and evidence storage run on Microsoft Azure; website forms are handled by Formspree. The current subprocessor list and control-by-control status are in the Trust Center and the Data Processing Addendum.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Customer data is not used to train models, for EcoVeraZ or for any provider we use. This is a company commitment recorded in the Trust Center, on the Copilot page and in the Data Processing Addendum.
What can Copilot see, and what does it do when it cannot answer?
Copilot retrieves from the customer’s own evidence within their tenant, cites the figures and sources behind each answer, and declines rather than guessing — both when a question falls outside the set it is built to answer and when the evidence cannot answer it. It does not answer from the open web and cannot see another tenant’s data.
Do you hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
No. Neither certification is held today and we do not claim otherwise; both are Planned, with an evidence register under way. Independent penetration testing is also Planned rather than completed. The Trust Center states each control as Available today, Planned, or Not publicly disclosed.
Who inside our organisation can see a figure?
Access is role-based with separate preparer, checker and issuer roles and deny-by-default capabilities. Unreviewed figures are visible to the team and to nobody outside it; what is published, and to whom, is decided by the reporting organisation.
How do we report a security issue?
Write to info@ecoveraz.com; the disclosure contact and the published security policy address are in the Trust Center, which is also the canonical location referenced by our security.txt file.

What does a pilot involve?
Typically one facility, three to five parameters and 12 to 24 months of history, drawn from records you already keep, over about twelve weeks in four phases. The how we work page sets out each phase, and three pilot shapes show what comes out of one.
What do we need to supply?
Records that already exist — meter exports, fuel logs, utility invoices, water and waste manifests, supplier declarations — plus a named owner for about an hour a week, a preparer and a reviewer who are different people. No new data collection is required to start.
How quickly do we see something usable?
Figures usually start appearing with their evidence in the first four to six weeks, and an issued report edition with its certificate comes at the end of the twelve-week shape. How many systems the records live in matters more than how large the site is.
What does it cost?
Pilots are scoped per facility and priced per engagement, so commercials are discussed directly rather than published as a price list that would fit nobody. A pilot starts without a long-term commitment, and you keep the evidence and outputs produced during it.
Do you work outside India?
Yes. EcoVeraZ, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with offices in Hyderabad and Piscataway, New Jersey, and the evidence approach is framework-agnostic; which disclosure frameworks matter differs by jurisdiction, not the underlying evidence.
